Sage Creek is a newer master-planned community by Qualico Communities in far southeast Winnipeg, built around a walkable Village Centre and a network of naturalized wetlands and trails. It has grown steadily over the past 15-plus years into a self-contained neighbourhood where shops, services, schools, and green space sit close to home. The look is consistent and modern, with design standards across the community, and it draws a mix of young families, professionals, and downsizers.

Getting around

Sage Creek sits in the city's far southeast, bounded roughly by Lagimodiere Boulevard, Abinojii Mikanah (formerly Bishop Grandin Boulevard), Plessis Road, and the Perimeter Highway. Those routes give drivers quick access toward downtown, across the city, and out to the Perimeter. Winnipeg Transit serves the area, with Route 50 running between Sage Creek and downtown along the Lagimodiere corridor and connecting routes nearby; riders should check Winnipeg Transit for current schedules. Much of daily life is also walkable or bikeable thanks to the Village Centre and the internal trail network. As a newer outer-edge community, it is more car-oriented than inner-city neighbourhoods.
